Exclusive Caribbean Art, Ripe with Culture

Experience the best of both worlds when multimedia artist Robert "Kibo" Thompson and ceramist Phillip Arthur Supersad of Kingston, Jamaica team up for the first time at Ripe Kitchen& Bar, 151 Sandford Boulevard West, Mount Vernon, NY on Sunday October 9th, 2005 from 6:30pm-10pm, for an exclusive exhibit and sale of their internationally acclaimed works, reinforcing the reputation for excellence of Jamaican artists.

There will also be a private viewing of the artwork between 5pm and 6:30pm, by reservation only. Wine and cheese will be served. Space is limited.

Specifically for the event, Supersad, also an accomplished African Drummer, is designing a special drum called a "Dholak" and will do some drumming during the evening, which identifies well with the African culture that is seen in Kibo's work.
